About the role

Zscaler is looking for a Principal Program Manager for the Security & Compliance Customer Trust team who will play a crucial role in ensuring customer understanding and acceptance of our security controls and processes. You will partner with security, compliance, customer success, legal, field and other teams to ensure customers have a trustworthy experience throughout their journey with us. This is a hybrid role in our San Jose, CA HQ. 

 

This is an individual contributor role that will grow into a management position.

 

What you will do

  • Manage the Vulnerability Disclosure Program (VDP) and security assurance governance framework.
  • Support customer security reviews from prospects and existing customers.
  • Support customer security audits of Zscaler and its products and services.
  • Be the primary security and compliance liaison for customers and internal teams.
  • Assist Customer Success in maintaining a knowledge base and guide sales teams.
  • Assist Legal organization to negotiate security and compliance commitments in contracts and service agreements.
  • Assist Compliance team in their evidence gathering journey and supporting periodic audits.
  • Track and report on trends in repeated customer asks and points of friction, and work with internal teams to help prioritize and define customer related requirements.

 

Experience / Skills Required

  • 8+ years experience in a similar role with a focus on customer-facing activities in the security and compliance domain.
  • 5-7 years of customer facing presentations to ‘C’ level executives as well as technical experts.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, SaaS and public cloud.
  • Knowledge of various compliance audits and security certifications (SOC2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP,  etc.) highly desired.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range

$195,000

$225,000 USD
