26-27 2nd Grade Teacher

📋 Description

• Teach K-2 grade level with ~26 students in a self-contained classroom.
• Create a positive classroom environment and implement English Language Arts and Math instruction.
• Assess students, collaborate with team, and build relationships with families.
• Assume duties as assigned by Principal.
• Support curriculum delivery and student growth across the school year.
• Work with fellow educators to uphold school values and student success.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Florida Teaching Certification or eligible for K-6 Elementary or PK-3 Elementary
• At least one year of teaching experience with proven achievement
• Strong alignment with KIPP values: high expectations, growth mindset, teamwork, trust, joy
• Background check and Care Provider Background Screening Clearance
• Preferred: Florida Reading Endorsement, ESOL Endorsement, 2+ years experience in relevant grade
