Accountant

📋 Description

• Lead month-end close from start to finish; ensure accurate reporting.
• Automate and improve accounting processes with the team.
• Manage monthly tax filings: income tax, payroll taxes, annual returns.
• Collaborate with product team to develop features for Jeeves.
• Conduct technical accounting research; document new policies.
• Support monthly AP; ensure invoices meet tax rules and are booked.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in public accounting or Fintech/Startup/Financial Institution.
• Experience with month-end close for timely results.
• Experience documenting and rolling out cross-functional processes.
• Able to simplify accounting principles for the business.
• Creative thinking and solutions for complex processes.
• Agile and able to pivot with changing environment.
