Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Support month-end close: journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist internal and external reporting, including variance analyses.
• Support quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
• Maintain SOX controls (ICFR, ITGC, ELC) and related processes.
• Guide and develop junior accounting staff in daily ops.
• Lead AI/LLM-driven accounting improvements and ERP projects.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent qualification required.
• 5+ years in accounting, incl. 2+ years managing a team.
• Experience with IFRS or US GAAP; US/Canada tax filings.
• Experience automating processes with AI tools.
• Experience with Netsuite, FloQast, Medius is an asset.
