Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and
• Oversee job costing and WIP schedules across multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy and
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing across residential
• Provide financial guidance to leadership to support sound decisions balancing accuracy and business
• Lead integration and optimization of external apps with QuickBooks Online to improve workflows.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor/client interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting with U.S.-based companies; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting for multiple projects.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams (public accounting, construction
• Ability to make sound financial judgments in a fast-moving, growing org.
• Experience supervising or guiding accounting professionals is a plus.
• Familiarity with federally funded government project accounting (certified payroll, prevailing
