Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Lead monthly and quarterly close processes for assigned accounts.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Manage two+ direct reports and coordinate with internal partners and auditors.
• Own sections of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) and footnote disclosures.
• Oversee complex accounting areas: ASC 842 leasing, fixed assets, software capitalization, G&A
• Support SOX controls and lead remediation with cross-functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant experience (Big 4 audit + SEC-registered and industry).
• Biotech industry experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with ERP/finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Coupa.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficiency with AI-enabled tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, Gemini).
