Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own full accounting cycle including reconciliations, month/year-end close, and financial reporting
• Oversee job costing and WIP across multiple construction projects
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing
• Provide financial guidance to leadership for decision-making
• Lead integration of external apps with QuickBooks Online to improve workflows
• Oversee AP/AR, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor relations

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years accounting experience with U.S.-based companies; CPA strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of construction/job-costed accounting across multiple projects
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Ability to make sound financial judgments in a fast-growing setting
• Experience coaching accounting staff; management title not required
• Familiarity with federally funded government project accounting is desirable
