Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and
• Oversee job costing and WIP schedules across multiple active construction projects, ensuring
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing across residential
• Provide financial guidance to leadership, balancing accuracy, compliance and business needs.
• Lead integration and optimization of external apps with QuickBooks Online to improve workflows.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor/client

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting across multiple projects.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams (public accounting, client-facing
• Ability to make sound financial judgments in a fast-paced, growing org.
• Experience mentoring accounting professionals; management title not required.
• Familiarity with federally funded/government project accounting (certified payroll, prevailing
