Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and
• Oversee job costing and WIP schedules across multiple construction projects, ensuring accuracy and
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing for residential
• Provide financial guidance to leadership to balance accuracy with operational needs.
• Lead integration and optimization of external applications with QuickBooks Online to improve
• Oversee AP/AR, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor/client interactions

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies; CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting across multiple projects.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams in professional settings.
• Ability to make sound financial judgments and manage priorities in a fast-growing org.
• Experience coaching accounting professionals; management title not required.
• Familiarity with federally funded or government project accounting is desirable but not mandatory.
