Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations and month/year-end close.
• Oversee job costing and WIP across construction projects.
• Manage revenue recognition and progress billing (CPA-preferred).
• Provide financial guidance to leadership for decisions.
• Integrate external apps with QuickBooks Online to improve workflows.
• Remote role supporting multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years accounting with US-based companies; CPA preferred.
• Strong construction or job-costed accounting experience.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Proven financial judgment; ability to handle competing priorities.
• Leadership: coaching/accounting staff experience is a plus.
• Familiar with federally funded projects, certified payroll, or DCAA is desirable.
