Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, incl. reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and financial
• Oversee job costing and WIP across multiple construction projects.
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing.
• Provide financial guidance to leadership for informed decision-making.
• Lead integration/optimization of external apps with QuickBooks Online.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expenses, subcontractor payments, vendor/client interactions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies; CPA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction/job-costed accounting across multiple projects.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams (public accounting, construction
• Ability to make sound financial judgments in a fast-paced, growing org.
• Experience supervising/coaching accounting professionals; management title not required.
• Familiarity with federally funded/government project accounting is desirable.
