Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle, including account reconciliations, month-end and year-end close, and
• Oversee job costing and WIP schedules across multiple active construction projects, ensuring
• Manage percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing across residential
• Provide financial guidance to leadership and support sound decision-making by balancing accuracy
• Lead the integration and optimization of external applications with QuickBooks Online to improve
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management, subcontractor payments, and vendor/client

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies, including demonstrated ownership of
• Strong knowledge of construction or job-costed accounting, with the ability to manage accounting
• Experience working with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams, ideally within public
• Demonstrated ability to make sound financial judgments and manage competing priorities in a
• Previous experience reviewing, supervising, coaching, or guiding accounting professionals is an
• Familiarity with federally funded or government project accounting, including certified payroll
