Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own the full accounting cycle including reconciliations, month-end and year-end close.
• Oversee job costing and WIP across construction projects; identify profitability trends.
• Manage revenue recognition and progress billing across residential, commercial, and federal
• Lead integration of external apps with QuickBooks Online to improve workflows.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and internal controls.
• Collaborate with leadership and coach accounting staff as the team grows.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years of U.S.-based accounting experience with full-cycle ownership; CPA preferred.
• Strong construction/job-costing accounting knowledge across multiple projects.
• Experience with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams; public accounting or construction
• Solid financial judgment; ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-growing org.
• English fluency; ability to explain complex finances to non-finance teams.
• Remote-friendly with excellent communication and time management.
