Accounting Manager, GL & Close

📋 Description

• Own critical-path close workstreams and drive them to done.
• Prepare complex areas: stock comp, leases, capitalized software, payroll accruals.
• Review established areas: fixed assets, cash, accruals, AP, expenses.
• Own tie-out and narrative for close package and flux.
• Manage and develop the accounting team; hire as we scale.
• Lead external audit readiness and PBC package creation.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years progressive accounting experience with hands-on close ownership.
• Active CPA preferred; Big 4 or national firm background is a plus.
• Strong US GAAP fluency; capitalization judgments and intercompany experience.
• ERP and systems: Carta, payroll systems, close tooling (Numeric, FloQast, BlackLine); Ramp
• AI-native working style; daily use of LLMs in accounting tasks.
• Comfort with scripting (Python, SQL, Apps Script) for schedules and automation.
