Build and maintain InDesign automation to generate print-ready layouts from structured content
Debug and stabilize existing production scripts in the InDesign pipeline
Use InDesign Server / headless rendering for production-scale automation
Collaborate with design and engineering to reduce manual layout work
Ramp into backend tickets alongside the Rails team
Communicate clearly in a fully remote, US-based team

🎯 Requirements

Strong hands-on InDesign scripting (ExtendScript and/or UXP .idjs)
Motivation to grow into backend development (Ruby, Python, Java, etc.)
Git proficiency and PR-based code reviews
Ability to debug others' automation, not just build new scripts
Ability to work independently with limited documentation
Fluent English (written & spoken); Central Time overlap
