AI Research Engineer - AI Safety

📋 Description

• Define operational domains and evaluate reliability of in-house AI capabilities.
• Work across the assurance lifecycle: distribution shifts, failure modes, uncertainty
• Interface with AI systems; design evaluation frameworks; assess robustness under real-world and
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to translate findings into improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Hold an MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in model evaluation, uncertainty quantification, or calibration; understand
• Familiarity with distribution shift detection, out-of-distribution evaluation, and adversarial
• Solid software engineering skills; Python and/or Rust or modern C++; experience deploying AI
• Excellent communication; ability to present research findings clearly.
• Interest in reimplementing and extending state-of-the-art approaches in deep learning evaluation
