Analytical Separations Scientist

📋 Description

• Perform qualifications and validations using instrumentation such as cSDS, cIEF, HPLC, UV-Vis
• Prepare samples for testing through dilution and other techniques
• Independently perform assigned assays within deadlines
• Draft qualification and verification reports with senior scientists
• Record lab work in real time via an electronic lab notebook
• Develop and optimize methods preceding method qualifications and validations

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Chemical Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry or Biochemistry
• 3+ years of lab experience using HPLC and Capillary Electrophoresis (CE)
• Advanced degree in Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry
• Understanding of method development/optimization/qualification/validation
• Experience with analytical methods including cSDS, cIEF, UV-Vis, slope spectroscopy
• Experience with Empower 3 and electronic lab notebooks
