Analytics Engineer (DBT, BigQuery)

📋 Description

• Evolve dbt models toward modular, documented layers from raw sources to marts.
• Shape semantic layer; define metric modeling and governance; drive adoption.
• Define data modeling standards and conventions via code review and docs.
• Partner with Data Scientists/Analysts to design analytics datasets.
• Build data testing and CI; implement data observability.
• Build and maintain Prefect workflows for data and models.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in analytics engineering or data engineering.
• Expert SQL; write and review complex queries.
• Hands-on with dbt or comparable transformation framework.
• Engineering discipline: version control, code review, testing, CI.
• Python; experience with Prefect, Airflow, Dagster.
• BigQuery experience; cross-functional collaboration.
