Application Security Engineer

📋 Description

• Triage and validate vulnerability submissions for Bugcrowd programs
• Curate data for validity, accuracy, and severity; request info when needed
• Handle incident response; escalate top-severity bugs to clients
• Leverage knowledge of OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities
• Use scripting skills to build tooling for triage/validation
• Work across programs including IoT and mobile apps

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent security consulting experience
• Published and demonstrated passion for security assessment research
• High proficiency with Burp Suite and tools like nmap, sqlmap, Kali Linux
• Ability to execute solo projects while contributing to the team
• Ability to complete tasks on time
• Strong organization, influencing, and communication skills
