Applications Engineer-CMM

📋 Description

• Provide technical expertise using CMM and gauging tech
• Translate measurement/inspection requirements into metrology solutions
• Develop inspection strategies and measurement programs for complex components
• Troubleshoot measurements: programming, probing, fixturing, correlation
• Support customers during startup, implementation, and ramp-up
• Collaborate with regional sales teams throughout engagement

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Eng or related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong engineering/mechanical principles; manufacturing/measurement experience preferred
• Knowledge of GD&T
• DMIS or other metrology programming knowledge desirable
• CAD/CAM experience in manufacturing/quality-control environment preferred
• Programming experience with VB, Java, or C++ advantageous
