Associate Chemist (Associate Scientist) - Environment Testing, 1st Shift

📋 Description

• Prepare and analyze environmental samples using standard analytical techniques
• Work with GC/MS and related methods for organic and semi-volatile compounds
• Perform routine lab tasks, instrument maintenance, and record/report data
• Operate under SOPs and QA/QC requirements with appropriate safety protocols
• Train and maintain documentation (training records, IDOC/DOC)
• Collaborate with team to manage workload and ensure timely QC samples

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years lab experience in lieu of degree
• English proficiency (read/write/speak)
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction
• Experience with wet chemistry and laboratory environments preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and ability to work independently
