Associate Corporate Counsel

📋 Description

• Provide pragmatic US and Americas legal/regulatory advice for Airwallex entities.
• Support corporate development on fundraising rounds, due diligence and governance.
• Partner on expansion into new markets across the Americas, including licensing and entity considerations.
• Align policies and governance across jurisdictions with Compliance and Risk teams.
• Draft, review and negotiate referral, marketing, and commercial agreements.
• Advise on marketing and promotions compliance and review client-facing materials.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from a reputable law school; active membership in at least one US State Bar in good standing.
• 3+ years of experience in financial services and corporate law, fintech context.
• Deep knowledge of Americas regulatory environment including US federal/state rules and cross-border fintech/payments.
• Proven experience drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements; strong written and verbal communication.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration across time zones with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing outside counsel including scoping work and cost control.
