Associate Director, Quality Control Laboratory

📋 Description

• Head of laboratory operations for the plant; manages QC Laboratory organization
• Oversees teams of Managers, Supervisors and Analysts; hires and develops staff
• Ensures conformance to government and corporate regulations; interfaces with regulators (FDA &
• Manages production objectives within budget; plans resources and approves budget changes
• Develops plans aligning with Development, Manufacturing, Customers and Business needs
• Performs advanced research and coordinates external service contracts as needed

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Science or equivalent with 10+ years experience OR
• MS in Science or equivalent with 8+ years experience; PhD preferred with 6+ years
• Strong technical lab operations skills and regulatory knowledge
• Ability to work independently and manage complex programs; budget management
• Ability to interact with internal/external customers and regulators
• Broad understanding of technical/science and business issues
