Associate Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Own delivery for 1-2 teams (6-15 engineers), track progress and risks
• Manage people and career development via 1-on-1s and reviews
• Maintain high engineering standards across backend, frontend, mobile, and QA
• Stay technically hands-on (~30%), contribute to code and PR reviews
• Enable team execution with Team Leads and Product Managers to remove blockers
• Improve platform reliability by investigating incidents and root causes

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software dev background with backend expertise (Java) and distributed systems
• Emerging leadership as Tech Lead/Team Lead with track record of helping others
• Interest in people management or readiness to take on responsibilities
• Strong delivery instincts to track progress and identify risks without micromanagement
• Sound product sense to identify gaps and engineering implications
• Strong English communication for technical and cross-functional discussions
