Associate General Counsel, Patent Prosecution

📋 Description

• Support AbbVie’s Patent Prosecution group for pharmaceutical products
• Develop IP strategies for products and candidates
• Draft, file, and prosecute patent applications globally
• Challenge and defend patents in post-grant proceedings
• Conduct prior art searches and due diligence for business deals

🎯 Requirements

• JD from a law school; bar admission for in-house practice
• 8+ years in patent law as attorney or agent
• Experience with US and foreign patent prosecution
• Pharma tech background: small molecule or biologics
• Technical degree in molecular biology/biotech/chemistry/biomedical eng
• Strong communication and project management skills
