Associate Materials Scientist

📋 Description

• Support synthesis of salt forms and polymorphs for drug candidates
• Perform solid form and particle characterization
• Collaborate with Medicinal Chemistry, Formulation, and Biopharmaceutics
• Conduct solid state characterization techniques (XRD, DSC, TGA, spectroscopy)
• Help define crystallization, screening, and API particle strategies
• Document work in electronic lab notebook systems

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's with 2+ years or MS/PhD in pharmaceutical science/chemistry/related field
• Experience with solid state characterization (XRD, microscopy, DSC, TGA, spectroscopy)
• FTIR/NIR/FT-Raman and SSNMR knowledge is a plus
• Strong data analysis, independent work, good communication
• Some programming experience is a plus
