Associate, Payment Integrity IBR

📋 Description

• Execute internal payment integrity solutions requiring billing/coding expertise
• Improve and develop solutions using Oscar's claim infrastructure and workflows
• Ensure claims are paid accurately and timely with high quality
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate friction into actionable improvements
• Serve as SME for complex billing issues and payor policies
• Provide training and educate team members as needed

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor7s degree or 4+ years of commensurate experience
• 2+ years of bill / coding audit experience with hospital/facility billing (UB-04)
• 4+ years experience in medical coding
• Medical coding certification through AAPC (CPC, COC) or AHIMA (CCS, RHIT, RHIA)
• Experience with reimbursement methodologies and provider contract concepts
• Familiarity with coding systems and claims processing practices
