Associate Sales Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop deep, hands-on expertise in InfluxDB and the InfluxData platform, including APIs, client
• Partner with senior Sales Engineers on active opportunities: build demos, PoCs, sample integrations
• Provide responsive technical coverage across the sales team: answer product questions, run demos
• Contribute to RFx responses and informal Q&A/workshop sessions
• Advocate for prospects with Engineering, Product and Support teams by relaying feedback
• Write content for blogs, community forums and sample-code repositories

🎯 Requirements

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or related discipline, or
• Proficient in at least one: Python, Go, JavaScript/Node.js, or Java; able to build working examples
• Familiarity with Linux fundamentals and command line
• Some exposure to data: SQL, NoSQL, CSVs or data coursework
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Curiosity about how businesses and physical operations work
