Audio Operator

📋 Description

• Operate audio consoles during live shows, match broadcasts, studio recordings, and special
• Manage microphones, IFBs, intercoms, ambient mics, music beds, playback, and SFX
• Ensure proper gain structure, EQ, dynamics, and audio balance for hosts, commentators, analysts
• Apply audio transitions and mixes according to the show’s rundown and production cues
• Set up microphones, audio monitors, IFB systems, comms, and other audio equipment required for
• Route audio sources across consoles, patch bays, and digital/NDI systems

🎯 Requirements

• Degree or technical training in Audio Engineering, Broadcasting, Audiovisual Production, or related
• Experience operating audio consoles in live production environments (TV, streaming, events, or
• Familiarity with studio, control-room, and field audio workflows
• Experience working with on-air talent and managing multiple audio sources simultaneously
• Proficiency with digital audio consoles (e.g., Yamaha, Behringer, Avid, or similar)
• Understanding of microphones, wireless systems, IFB, intercoms, and monitoring setups
