AV System Designer

📋 Description

• Lead the technical design process for commercial and residential AV projects.
• Design complete AV systems including switching, distribution, control systems, and networked AV.
• Translate requirements into detailed designs and engineering documentation.
• Create system drawings, diagrams, schematics, and documentation using CAD tools.
• Develop bills of materials and support proposals, estimates, and feasibility reviews.
• Collaborate with leadership and sales to define scope and align designs with client goals.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on AV design experience from concept to build-ready solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AV switching, distribution, control systems, and networked AV tech.
• Experience with Extron, Control4; proficiency with D-Tools, Visio, CAD or similar tools.
• Strong technical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with teams.
• East Coast US location with availability for periodic travel; commercial AV design experience
