AWS and Azure Data Governance Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor, manage, and optimize data lifecycle migrations across AWS and Azure cloud storage tiers
• Design automated data tiering policies for AWS S3 and Azure Storage
• Enforce data governance, compliance, and retention across cloud storage
• Oversee migration progress, performance, and security requirements
• Collaborate with data owners and stakeholders on tiering opportunities and issue resolution

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in cloud data management, data governance, or data lifecycle management
• Strong experience with AWS and Azure data storage services
• Hands-on with AWS S3 lifecycle, Azure Blob/Data Lake Storage tiers, and data migrations
• Proficiency in scripting and IaC (Python, Terraform, AWS CLI, Azure CLI/PowerShell)
• Proven ability to implement data governance standards, retention, encryption, and access controls
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
