📋 Description

AWS Platform/API Engineer role in AbbVie North Chicago, IL; Hybrid 3 in-office days, up to 2 days
Design APIs for reusable services, develop APIs and services for cross-platform workflows.
Connect cloud and on-prem apps to build cohesive IT infra.
Automate using native AWS technologies and DevOps practices.
Implement security measures across integration solutions to protect data.
Provide guidance and training to junior engineers and other staff.

🎯 Requirements

BS in computer science/engineering or related field; 5 years platform/API engineer experience.
5 years coding on AWS with Python, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
1 year with AWS CloudFormation or Terraform (IaC); 1 year with Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD using AWS
Shell scripting ( Bash or Python ) for automation and system management.
