Azure Data Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable security data ingestion pipelines for SIEM and cloud data
• Parse, normalize, transform, enrich, and validate structured/unstructured telemetry using regex
• Onboard new log sources with application/infrastructure/cloud teams; validate end-to-end data flows.
• Ensure integrity, completeness, timeliness, and quality of security telemetry for monitoring
• Collaborate with detection engineering, security operations, and governance teams to support
• Monitor ingestion, troubleshoot issues, and maintain documentation on onboarding, mappings, and

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in cybersecurity, data engineering, log management, or related field.
• Hands-on experience onboarding/managing log sources within SIEM, cloud data platforms, or security
• Strong parsing/normalization/transformation with regex, JSON, XML, CSV; handling structured and
• Familiarity with security telemetry across network, endpoint, identity, application, cloud, and
• Experience with Azure logging/monitoring/services; troubleshooting and data-quality problem solving.
• scripting/automation (Python, PowerShell) preferred; familiarity with query languages for data
