Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead architectural design and end-to-end development of the core cross-border platform.
• Spearhead integrations with international payment rails, banks, LPMs, and card networks.
• Optimize performance, availability, and latency for distributed transactions.
• Collaborate with risk, finance, compliance, and product teams.
• Architect anti-fund-loss frameworks and automated reconciliation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years Java development; 2+ years in architecture and distributed systems.
• 2+ years building/maintaining cross-border payment infrastructure.
• Led end-to-end lifecycle of a core payment platform (acquiring, clearing, settlement).
• Experience with capital protection and fund-loss mitigation, incl. reconciliation.
• Experience integrating with international rails, banking APIs, LPMs, and card networks.
• Excellent communication, ownership, and proactive problem solving.
