Backend Engineer – API Integrationen, Connectoren, Worker/Jobs, Mailer Service, QA

📋 Description

• Build and maintain production-ready API integrations and connectors, prioritizing Box and HubSpot
• Implement authentication and integration patterns using OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate limits
• Design and develop queue-driven, stateful, and replayable workers and background jobs.
• Build a mailer service with PDF attachments, structured logging, retry logic, delivery checks, and
• Design database schemas and perform clean migrations using PostgreSQL or similar tech.
• Implement audit events and persistent traceability with correlation IDs and observability across

🎯 Requirements

• Strong backend track record with Python, Node.js, Go, or similar.
• Experience building and maintaining production API integrations (OAuth, webhooks, pagination, rate
• Relational databases knowledge, schema design, data persistence, safe migrations.
• Testing mindset with contract, integration, unit, or end-to-end tests.
• Experience with asynchronous/queue-based/event-driven systems and background workers.
• Understanding of reliability engineering: idempotency, retries, replayability, deduplication
