Backend Engineer, Flag Delivery

📋 Description

• Build, ship, and operate features and services in Flag Delivery's streaming and polling
• Own well-scoped projects end to end: design, implementation, rollout, and the operational tail.
• Investigate and fix production issues, participating in the team’s on-call rotation with support.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code and take part in code and design reviews.
• Improve the observability and reliability of the code you own.
• Collaborate with SDK Engineering, Data Platform, and product-engineering teams on work that crosses

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software-engineering experience building production services.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Go, Rust, Python, Java, etc.) and familiarity with a
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, concurrency, API design, and testing.
• Experience debugging real production problems and a willingness to carry an on-call rotation.
• Working familiarity with observability tooling and comfort reading dashboards, logs, and traces.
• Ability to break down an ambiguous task, ask good questions, and drive it to done.
