📋 Description

• Own Multimodal Operations: Lead ocean, air, trucking, and customs brokerage for the GDL office
• Leverage Local Market Relationships: Maintain and grow relationships with Mexican carriers
• Drive Customer Success: Ensure great service quality and build long-term client relationships.
• Serve as the Local Site Leader: Be the face of Flexport in Guadalajara with vendors and partners.
• Build and Scale the Office: Shape team structure and ways of working as headcount grows.
• Champion Automation & AI: Drive automation to reduce manual work and speed execution.

🎯 Requirements

• Leadership Experience: 7+ years in freight/logistics leadership roles.
• Operational Expertise: Hands-on multimodal ops in Mexico (ocean, air, trucking, customs).
• Market Relationships: Existing ties with major carriers and brokers in Mexico.
• Automation Mindset: Prefer automation and AI tools over manual processes.
• Leadership Presence: Credible local leader for Flexport in Guadalajara.
• Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English.
