Business Intelligence Engineer

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and self-service reports using BI tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) to surface insights.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, customers, and end users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions aligned with objectives.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis across large datasets to ensure high performance.
• Contribute to the design and evolution of data models and semantic layers and work with data engineering to define and improve pipelines.
• Act as a senior contributor in BI development, driving best practices in visualization, governance, and security.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability by implementing validation and testing across dashboards and underlying data.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience designing and evolving scalable BI solutions, including data models, semantic layers, and reporting frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data in cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• Experience building and maintaining robust dashboards and reporting systems using modern BI tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and transformation practices (ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling) and their impact on performance.
• Experience contributing to cloud-based data architecture and analytics workflows, defining and improving best practices.
• Ability to establish and uphold data quality, governance, and reliability standards.
