[C] Data Engineer, Safeguards

📋 Description

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for safety monitoring and abuse detection
• Develop and optimize data models and warehousing for large-scale usage and safety data
• Build dashboards and reporting to show model behavior, misuse patterns, and outcomes
• Collaborate to integrate data from model outputs, user reports, and classifiers into a unified layer
• Implement data quality, monitoring, and alerting for safety-critical data
• Partner with research to surface data insights for model improvements and safety

🎯 Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Python, with hands-on ETL/ELT pipelines
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, or similar
• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Spark, or similar orchestration and transformation frameworks
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations using Looker, Tableau, or Metabase
• Ability to communicate clearly and translate complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience with large-scale event streaming systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Kinesis
