Chief Accountant (China)

📋 Description

• Post all transactions in the accounting system (1C; SAP in future)
• Ensure compliance with Chinese GAAP and group policies
• Oversee GL, month/quarter/year closings and reporting
• Ensure correct classification of transactions in the system
• Participate in SAP implementation for the Chinese entity
• Support treasury and cash flow management

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in accounting; Chief/Senior Accountant preferred
• Proven experience in a one-person accounting role
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Chinese GAAP and local practices
• Experience with Chinese taxation (CIT, VAT, WHT, TP, payroll taxes)
• GL management and period-end closings experience
• English – Upper-Intermediate; Chinese – fluent (must-have)
