📋 Description

  • Identify patient populations meeting program inclusion/exclusion criteria.
  • Review medical records for quality programs and national databases.
  • Ensure data is compiled, documented, entered, and maintained timely.
  • Participate in morbidity/mortality conferences to support adverse event documentation.
  • Apply standardized definitions and participate in inter-rater reliability testing.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline data collection and reporting processes.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Respiratory Therapy with 3 years of hospital experience; or
  • Master’s degree may qualify with at least one year of hospital experience.
  • 3+ years of healthcare experience with process improvement emphasis preferred.
  • Experience with clinical chart review and abstraction preferred.
  • Strong understanding of clinical quality, data collection, documentation, and performance
  • Ability to interpret medical records and apply inclusion/exclusion criteria.
