Coal Technician - Bowen Basin Onsite Laboratories

📋 Description

• Collect, prepare, analyse, store, and report coal samples across multiple onsite laboratory sites
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and traceability of all sample preparation and testing activities.
• Assist with preventative maintenance of laboratory and sample preparation equipment.
• Plan shift workflows and coordinate sample collection and analysis activities.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with incoming and outgoing shifts.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and report equipment issues or safety concerns

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in coal sampling, preparation, and testing is highly regarded but not essential.
• Previous experience in a mineral, coal, or general laboratory environment is advantageous.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and proven reliability.
• Comfortable working in heat, dust, and cold weather.
