Commercial Counsel - EMEA

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate GTM/sales agreements in EMEA, incl. enterprise contracts
• Partner with sales, BD, and operations to design go-to-market strategies
• Monitor EU legal developments (data protection, tech, AI) and apply to contracts
• Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates and policies
• Provide pragmatic legal advice to cross-functional teams for growth
• Help scale the Legal Team’s commercial function and culture

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and qualification to practice law in a relevant EMEA jurisdiction
• 5+ years post-qualification legal experience (in-house tech/SaaS preferred)
• Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
• Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and IP
• Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and tight deadlines
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams
