Communications Lead, Lending + Financial Access

📋 Description

• Lead communications for Block's lending and financial access initiatives across Square, Cash App
• Develop executive narratives, thought leadership, and proactive storytelling to strengthen Block's
• Coordinate with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting, Product, and Communications to align
• Build storytelling campaigns showing how Block expands access to financial tools for consumers and
• Create and manage an always-on program featuring customer and seller stories highlighting impact on
• Support executive communications, media engagement, and key business milestones.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in corporate communications, financial services communications, fintech, or regulated
• Exceptional writing and storytelling to translate complex financial products into clear narratives.
• Experience developing proactive communications strategies for corporate reputation and growth.
• Strong executive communications experience, messaging, thought leadership, and media strategies.
• Excellent cross-functional partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, Product, and business leaders.
• Experience managing media relationships and proactive storytelling opportunities.
