Communications Specialist

📋 Description

• Support communications for a major federal healthcare modernization program.
• Develop clear, timely, audience-focused communications for organizational readiness and adoption.
• Combine strategic planning with hands-on writing, editing, stakeholder engagement, content
• Collaborate with government stakeholders and internal teams to ensure accurate, consistent
• Contribute to transparency and effective change management across a large, complex healthcare
• This is a remote U.S.-based opportunity with occasional travel to VA Medical Centers for Go-Live

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or related
• At least 4 years of professional communications or public relations experience, including
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and content-development skills.
• Experience with healthcare, health IT, federal programs, Veterans Affairs, or EHR modernization is
• Familiarity with organizational change management communications, ideally Prosci-aligned.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
