Compliance Manager, Leave and Disability Management

📋 Description

• Provide compliance guidance for leave management, disability programs, and related offerings.
• Identify regulatory requirements and support employer clients with state-specific obligations.
• Develop and maintain plan documents, notices, and reporting processes.
• Monitor changes in leave laws and communicate updates to internal teams.
• Advise on implementing state leave laws, FMLA, ADA, and related protections.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and business teams on customer-facing materials.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; JD and employment law experience preferred.
• 5+ years in leave management, disability consulting, or related compliance roles.
• Extensive knowledge of FMLA, state leave laws, ADA, PFML, and paid sick leave requirements.
• Experience supporting employer clients through the full lifecycle of benefit programs.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Collaborative, proactive, and adaptable to evolving regulatory environments.
