Compounding Pharmacy Technician

📋 Description

• Assist with compounding nonsterile pharmaceutical preparations under supervising pharmacist
• Maintain accuracy and potency in compounding
• Package and label prescriptions, including bulk medications
• Monitor inventory and reorder chemicals as needed
• Adhere to USP guidelines related to non-sterile compounding
• Perform environmental monitoring and cleaning per SOPs

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years experience as a pharmacy technician in a compounding setting
• Experience in veterinary care or medical field or strong interest
• Customer-focused, team player, thrives in fast-paced environments
• Ability to stay stationary 50% of the time; lift up to 25 lbs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays; loves pets
