📋 Description

• Own the monthly close end-to-end and drive toward a 5-day, audit-ready close
• Lead the conversion to full US GAAP accrual across all revenue streams
• Own the chart of accounts and tie GL entries to source data warehouse data
• Be the primary contact for external auditors and manage open items
• Own tax compliance calendar and work with outside tax advisors
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and manage outsourced provider

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, incl. controllership
• Deep US GAAP knowledge with experience converting to accrual
• Experience with external audits and PBC processes
• Marketplace/fintech accounting experience; revenue recognition knowledge
• Fluency with QuickBooks, modern spend platforms (e.g., Ramp), HRIS (e.g., Rippling)
• SQL/BI comfort to link GL to source data and integrate data warehouse
