Corporate Counsel, Public Sector

📋 Description

• Legal partner for ID.me's federal, state, and local government business
• Advise Sales, Capture, Product, Security, and executives on government contracting and compliance
• Support full contracting lifecycle from proposal to post-award administration
• Draft and negotiate public sector agreements (SaaS licenses, MSAs, DPAs, OTAs, SOWs, etc.)
• Monitor government procurement laws and cybersecurity/privacy requirements
• Collaborate with resellers, systems integrators, and channel partners

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active U.S. state bar
• 3–8 years in government contracts/public sector transactions
• Experience drafting/negotiating technology/SaaS licenses with government customers
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and U.S. government procurement laws
• Ability to provide practical, business-minded legal advice; strong drafting/negotiation skills
• Willingness to apply AI tools where appropriate
