📋 Description

• Join Carta Law Contracts team in the Americas.
• Manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts (NDAs, NRLs, joinders, engagement letters) with timely
• Be primary day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted advisor relationships with
• Maintain and update client playbooks for consistency and quality across negotiations.
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals; contribute to a high-performing team culture.
• Contribute to improving Carta’s legal tech suite, exploring AI-backed tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Commercially minded and client-focused with crisp, concise communication of legal advice.
• 6-8+ years post-law-school corporate or transactional experience; independently negotiate
• Experience with financial services firms (asset managers, investment banks) and understanding their
• Law Degree and licensed to practice in the Americas (US/Canada).
• Tech-savvy; comfortable with legal tech/AI tools (e.g., AI tools, HighQ).
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and seeks to improve and innovate.
